London events can ask rather more of a photo booth company than simply turning up with a camera.

We have worked at celebrations across the capital, from corporate Christmas parties in luxury Park Lane hotels and prestigious restaurant events to school celebrations, private parties, family gatherings, and large themed occasions.

Our period photo booths give guests something genuinely different to discover, but behind that experience is the planning needed to make it work properly in a London venue. Access windows, loading restrictions, guest numbers, venue requirements and the timetable for the evening can all matter.

Tell us what you are planning and we can help shape the booth, staffing and practical arrangements around the event.

Our Oxfordshire base also gives us straightforward access into London, supporting the corporate, private and special events we already work on across the capital.

Choose Your Photo Booth for Your London Event

If you already know the kind of experience you want, you can explore our three main photo booths straight away.

The Vintage Photo Booth combines a genuine 1910 camera, converted HMV television and gramophone with modern photography, making the period equipment part of what guests discover and enjoy.

The Antique Grandfather Clock Photo Booth hides a working photo booth inside a genuine Victorian grandfather clock, giving guests something unexpected to discover during the event.

For something brighter and more playful, the Through the Decades Photo Booth takes its inspiration from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Not sure which one suits your event? Tell us about the venue, guest numbers and what you are planning and we can help you choose. You can also explore our wider Photo Booth Hire range.

Corporate Events and Christmas Parties in London

London has given us the opportunity to work on corporate events where the scale, venue and logistics all need careful planning.

For one large corporate Christmas party at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on Park Lane, we provided two photographic experiences during the same evening to accommodate the number of guests.

Our Vintage Photo Booth gave guests the period booth experience, while a separate photo set was run by one of our professional photographers. Both produced printed photographic mementos for guests to take away.

The practical planning mattered too. Load-in and load-out had to be organised around the noise restrictions applying to the Westminster location, so the logistics were worked out around the venue and event rather than expecting the event to fit around us.

That experience is useful whether you are planning a Christmas party, awards evening, company anniversary, client event or large formal dinner. Tell us the expected attendance, venue and timings and we can think about what is actually required to serve the room properly..

When a Photo Booth Becomes Part of the Entertainment

Sometimes the brief goes considerably further than supplying photographic equipment.

For one London event, our actor photo booth host worked from the client's script and developed a carefully groomed Cecil Beaton-inspired character for the occasion.

The character became part of the guest experience rather than simply somebody standing beside a camera.

The client's Creative Events Producer at The Ivy Collection described the result:

“The photo studio was absolutely amazing, even better than we expected but the star of the show was Simon, he truly embodied the character and made everyone's experience so memorable. Pleasure to have him there last night from start to finish and thank you for your excellent communication throughout.”

For the right event, that kind of performance can turn the photographic experience into something much more theatrical and personal.

If you have a theme, creative brief or particular way you want guests to be welcomed, talk to us about it. We can tell you what is practical rather than assuming every event needs the same standard setup

Weddings and Private Celebrations in London

Our London work is not limited to corporate events.

We have provided photo experiences for private celebrations ranging from 1920s styled and Greatest Showman themed milestone celebrations for young people to family occasions and parties where the booth becomes part of a much wider theme.

That is where having several very different experiences becomes useful.

The Vintage Photo Booth can bring genuine period equipment into a 1920s or vintage-inspired celebration. The Antique Grandfather Clock Photo Booth gives guests something unexpected to discover, while the Through the Decades Photo Booth offers a more colourful and playful direction.

The booth does not have to dictate the theme. We can start with what you have already planned and decide what genuinely adds to it.

School Celebrations and Events in London

Our photo booths can work particularly well for school proms, end-of-year parties and seasonal celebrations such as Christmas parties, giving students something they can enjoy together alongside the rest of the event.

For a prom or end-of-year celebration, groups of friends can use the booth throughout the evening and leave with printed photographs from an occasion that often marks an important moment in their school years. For a Christmas party or other seasonal event, the booth can become part of the entertainment without requiring another organised activity in the timetable.

Tell us about the age group, expected attendance, venue and how the event is planned and we can help you choose an appropriate photo booth experience and setup.

City of London Events

The City of London is included within our London coverage.

For corporate dinners, company celebrations, awards evenings and formal events in the Square Mile, we would rather understand the individual venue and brief than send you to another substantially similar “City of London photo booth hire” page.

Central London venues can have particular requirements around access, loading, security and setup times. Once we know the venue, we can establish what needs to happen before the event rather than leaving those questions until the day

Planning Photo Booth Hire at a London Venue

London is one place where we particularly encourage you to send the venue details early.

Useful information includes:

  • • Venue and full address
    • Event date
    • Approximate guest numbers
    • Guest arrival and event timings
    • Venue access and loading instructions
    • Available setup window
    • Any restrictions already supplied by the venue
    • Whether you need a standard booth experience or something more bespoke

If some of that information is not available yet, that is fine. Start with what you know.

We can then identify what still needs to be confirmed with the venue and plan the photographic experience around the event..

Ready to Plan Your London Event?

Whether you are organising a corporate Christmas party for hundreds of guests, a private themed celebration, wedding, school event or something we have not mentioned at all, tell us what you have in mind.

If the brief is straightforward, we can help you choose the right booth.

If it needs something more involved, from additional photographic capacity to a hosted character experience, we can talk through that too.

The aim is not simply to put a photo booth into a London venue. It is to make the photographic experience work properly as part of the event you are creating.
