HOW IT WORKS?

Capture the moments, the costumes and the atmosphere in our genuine 1920s ambiance.

The oldest camera in history, the wooden obscura, was also known as the field camera. We have the genuine article from 1910 but inside we have installed a modern camera, which takes the most awesome photos. Connected to our field camera a ‘HMV’ (His Masters Voice) Table Television touch screen conversion showing your photo set up and the finished product. Simply touch the screen for the countdown to begin and bam! Your photo is ready for you to view and share by email or social media.

Marvel at our pièce de résistance, your photo appearing from a 1916 wind up mahogany Gramophone while it plays original shellac 78 records from the 1920s.

The open plan Vintage Photo Booth lighting comes courtesy of our stage and television lamps sourced from the personal collection of the late Lord McAlpine. It’s rumored that these shone on many a star including Laurence Olivier playing Richard III at the New Theatre in London’s West End.

Complete the theatrics with the optional extra of ‘character hosts’ or accompanying actors…. laugh with Laurel and Hardy, get cheeky with our Butlers in the Buff.
